THE AUSTRIAN POSTGRESQL CONFERENCE
Following the great success of the first PGDay Austria in September 2019 and after the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Austrian PostgreSQL Conference will take place again 2021. PGDay Austria is a day not only for enthusiasts of the PostgreSQL database system, but also for everyone working in IT, from administrators to developers to IT managers – and those who want to become such.
In numerous talks, the latest and most exciting developments from the PostgreSQL scene will be presented to an international audience. Find out about products and services of exhibitors and network with like-minded people. Of course, your physical well-being is taken care of.

Information regarding the coronavirus:
Currently, there is no need to wear masks in Austria (except in stores), but the so-called “3G-regulationn” (recovered, vaccinated or tested) must be followed.
Please show proof of recovery, vaccination or testing at the reception. Otherwise, you will not be admitted.
The following tests with different validity periods are permitted:
- PCR test: 48 hours
- Antigen test (rapid test): 24 hours
- Convalescents: up to 6 months after the disease (isolation certificate, antibody test, etc.)
- Vaccinated: only those who have received two vaccinations (exception: Johnson & Johnson) are considered vaccinated
If the situation in Austria changes, we will inform you immediately. We kindly invite you to act reasonably – if you feel ill, please don’t show up. Keep a sufficient distance to others and wash your hands more frequently.
We want PGDay Austria 2021 to be a safe event for our participants, speakers and sponsors. Therefore we are continuously evaluating the situation in terms of SARS-CoV-2 and have developed a comprehensive and flexible prevention concept. This can be adapted to the respective conditions and necessary protective measures to ensure your health and safety.
