Terms & Conditions: PGDay Austria x Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Lucky Draw

Overview

This Lucky Draw/Raffle (the “Campaign”) is organized by the PGDay Austria 2025 event team, in partnership with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (“SWT”). By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• The Campaign is open to individuals who:

Make a donation via the designated PGDay Austria ticketing system using the Lucky Draw donation option.

Please note: Entry is only open to individuals who purchase either of the following PGDay Austria 2025 ticket types:

• Early Bird + Elephant Foster (€149 + €40 donation)
• Early Bird + Elephant Supporter (€149 + €25 donation)
• Standard Ticket + Elephant Foster (€249 + €40 donation)
• Standard Ticket + Elephant Supporter (€249 + €25 donation)

• Provide a valid email address and full name as proof of participation.
• For Elephant Foster tickets: please also share the name of the elephant you’ve chosen to foster at sheldrickwildlifetrust.org.
• Employees of PGDay Austria, CYBERTEC PostgreSQL International GmbH, and affiliated partners are excluded from entry.

How to Enter

To enter the Lucky Draw:

Make a donation to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust through the official PGDay Austria ticketing system using the dedicated donation ticket.

Please note: Entry is only open to individuals who purchase either of the following PGDay Austria 2025 ticket types:

2. Email your full name, proof of donation, and a valid email address to [email protected].

• For Elephant Foster tickets: please also share the name of the elephant you’ve chosen to foster at sheldrickwildlifetrust.org.

3. You will be automatically entered into the Lucky Draw after verification.

Note:

• Only one entry per person is allowed.
• Purchasing multiple eligible tickets does not increase your chances of winning.

Campaign Period

• The Campaign runs from 15th June to 25th Aufust, both dates inclusive.
• Entries received after 23:59 CET on the closing date will not be considered.

The Prize

• One (1) winner will be randomly selected to receive a gift item from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust shop, generously provided by SWT.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The winner will be notified via email within 7 days after the end of the Campaign.

Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
• If the winner does not respond within 5 business days of notification, PGDay Austria reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Data Privacy and Consent

• The collection and processing of participants’ personal data will be conducted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• The personal data (name and email address) provided by participants will be used exclusively for the purposes of this Campaign, including communication regarding the draw and delivery of the prize.

• By submitting an entry, participants consent to the use of their data as outlined above.

• Data will be stored securely and deleted within 30 days after the conclusion of the Campaign, unless further retention is required by law.

• Participants have the right to:
– Access their personal data
– Request correction or deletion
– Withdraw consent at any time by contacting: [email protected]

Limitation of Liability

PGDay Austria authorities shall not be held liable for:

• Lost, incomplete, or late entries
• Technical malfunctions affecting entry submission
• Delays in prize delivery caused by circumstances beyond the organizers’ control
